The Vessel
MY Jaariya is a 30.45 metre Teak wooden live-aboard vessel. The
vessel is equipped with all modern amenities cruises at 10 knots per hour. The spacious
rooms and well designed interior of the boat are ideally suited to provide you the best of
live-aboard safari experience in the Maldives.
How you get there?
A short boat ride
of 5 to 10 minutes will take you from the airport to the vessel which is usually anchored
in a nearby lagoon.
How is the accommodation?
Your accommodation is arranged in one
of the 11 air-con |
ditioned twin or double rooms. The vessel is built to accommodate a total
of 11 guests in guest rooms which are totally separate from the working sections of the
vessel.
What are the facilities available?
Rooms: All rooms are fully air-
conditioned and have en-suite bathrooms equipped with shower and hot/cold
water.
Dining: The vessel has an air-conditioned restaurant serving international and
local cuisines prepared and served by a friendly and experi |
nced crew.
Others: Other
facilities available on board include TV, VCR and Hi-fi systems.
What are the sports
and recreation facilities available?
Diving: Diving takes place from an accompanying
smaller vessel which is equipped with modern equipments for diving available on rent. A
package of two to three dives are operated by the PADI qualified diving instructor and
crew onboard.
Excursions: Excursions offered in the vessel include night fishing,
snorkelling, wave surfing, barbecue on uninhabited islands and island hopping.
